A quick look at Jabsco industrial pumps

If you are not in the industrial pumps business you may not have heard of Jabsco. However, if you own any sort of machinery or equipment that requires a pump you are no doubt familiar with Jabsco pumps. They have been manufacturing industrial pumps for many years and are considered one of the leading pump manufacturers in the world. In fact, their product line is not limited to pumps but covers all sorts of water system equipment, engine cooling pumps, searchlights and marine waste systems. They also make parts for hygenic applications, fluid transfer in chemical processing, laboratory equipment, paint processing, plating and construction. To add to all this, they are actually owned by ITT Corporation, a huge conglomerate that once owned over 300 companies including Sheraton Hotels, Wonder Bread, Avis Rent-a-Car and many more. They are also one of the top defense contractors for the US government.

All in all, Jabsco is a very reputable industrial pump manufacturer and it is owned by a huge corporation that has been extremely successful over the past century. Most recently, ITT purchased Laing, which is a leading producer of energy efficient circulator pumps used in residential and commercial plumbing and heating systems.
